Supply Chain Execution SCE

This term refers to all processes, operations and information systems of the supply chain aiming at its execution on the field.

Regarding information systems, we often speak of SCE modules.

The use of these SCE modules allows executing, following and evaluating via Logistics KPI all field operations related to the supply chain. They are going to handle the operational activities and are thus focused on short and very short term.

Types of SCE

The most common SCE Modules allow to handling the following functions:

• Control and Management of Orders (Advanced Orders Management AOM)
• Execution of Production (Manufacturing Execution System MES)
• Execution of Transport (Transportation Management System TMS )
• Warehouse Management (Warehouse Management System WMS )
